Who we are

Born and schooled in Somerset and with a degree in Business Studies & Manufacturing, Rupert managed several estate agencies in Somerset and worked in IT recruitment in London. Having helped people to buy houses and find them a job, it seemed a natural progression to assist with their finances. So, a 17-year career with a large global bank ensued.

At first, he gave advice to business owners across the South West in areas such as employee benefits, pensions and business protection.

He then moved into personal banking, working alongside Sarah, predominantly servicing high net worth clients as a trusted adviser, providing first class advice across investments, protection, estate planning and pensions.

He has always provided this in a jovial, considered and caring fashion as well as being confident that the advice he offers is honest, relevant and transparent. Rupert will always be looking at solutions which consider the long term for you, not just the here and now.

Bringing together this broad palette of experiences allows Rupert to really relate to people from all walks of life.

Outside of work Rupert likes spending his time with family which now includes two young granddaughters. He also has a passion for most types of music and not many weeks go by without him attending a concert somewhere in the country. He is also a regular at Bath Rugby and Somerset Cricket Clubs and always has a holiday in the pipeline.

Sarah has been working in financial services for 22 years, spending most of this time at a large high street bank. She started her career as a cashier before roles in commercial banking and for the last 10 years wealth relationship management. Her passion and strengths are working with clients to exceed expectations and to provide the highest levels of customer service, developing long-term relationships based on trust, mutual respect and understanding whilst having fun along the way. She has even been known to extend her skills to mending radiators at client visits and delivering shopping to more vulnerable clients when they’ve really needed her. Sarah is excellent at breaking down barriers and making our clients’ financial planning journeys simple, stress-free and enjoyable.

By working closely with clients to get to know what is most important to them she is able to establish a long-term approach ensuring each one feels valued, informed and treated as an individual. She will oversee client journeys from the very start of the process anticipating “bumps in the road” before they happen by staying in touch over the short and long term.

On a more personal note, Sarah lives in Bath with her husband Andy and their two teenagers: Jake and Evie. She is a fitness fanatic and when she’s not practising yoga, boxing, running or attending a spin class you’d usually find her out on a long country walk with her dog Joey. Family life is incredibly important and precious to Sarah, which is part of the reason she decided to take a step away from the corporate world. Without the distractions that come with working for a large organisation she is now able to devote more time to clients.
